This Anthem was first performed on BBC Radio 4 on lst November 1984 in the 'Daily Service' by the Birmingham Conservatoire Chamber Choir under the direction of John Bishop. This Choir gave a second performance of the anthem on November 4th 1984 as part of the Evensong service in Birmingham Cathedral.
